Aikštėje is a niche news project whose main format is a podcast focusing on architecture, urbanism, and public spaces in Lithuanian cities. It also tackles urban issues worldwide.

The project was initiated and coordinated by a collective of writers and architects, and is managed by the umbrella NGO Architecture Foundation.

In 2021, Aiksteje examined the topic of “home” and invited the audience to approach the subject from many different points of view, from philosophy to building typology, and to re-think the concepts of home and homeliness.

Aikštėje also produces written materials for print cultural news outlets in Lithuania. The project is financed with grants and donations from the audience.
