Conexión Migrante is an independent digital organization that offers services and information to migrants in general, and to Mexican and Latino migrants living in the United States and their families in their places of origin, in particular.

The online news and information service was created on November 8, 2016 with the objective of being a bridge of contact between countries and a support so that the participation of migrants is more efficient and transparent in their states and communities. It comprises a group of journalists and specialists in different subjects such as migration, diplomacy, human rights, hearings, technology, photography, video and communication services. The team is convinced that information is the most powerful tool to defend the rights of migrants.

They want to help migrants in processes as simple as obtaining identification, and as complicated as deportation. The outlet does journalism of services and solutions; it offers informative tools and personalized advice to migrants who need it. It has great power to deliver messages to the Mexican migrant community in the United States and to migrants in Mexico and Central and South America. Its Migrant Assistance Center receives an average of 700 messages, phone calls and emails each month with the feelings, doubts and needs of a growing community, which are answered in their entirety.
