Conquista Repórter

https://conquistareporter.com.br/
Conquista Repórter is an independent local media organization covering Vitória da Conquista, the third largest city in Bahia. They focus on the production and free distribution of content that goes beyond the factual, aiming at the public interest and the plurality of voices. The site emerged from the restlessness of three young journalists: Afonso Ribas, Karina Costa and Victória Lôbo. Dissatisfied with the city's journalistic scene, marked by the reproduction of press releases and shallow and almost exclusively police news, especially online, they decided to take action to contribute to improving local journalism.
