County 10 was founded in 2011 as Wyoming's first digital-only news source, born out of a need to connect the far-flung communities of Fremont County a county as large as Rhode Island with a small but diverse population. The outlet pioneered a chronological Community News Feed format that became its signature, allowing locals to discover and share their stories in real time. In 2019, County 10 was purchased by local owner Kairos Communications LLC, which has since significantly expanded the brand. In 2020, County 10 acquired a local digital marketing agency, rebranded as Marketlocal, now serving small businesses across Wyoming and beyond. In 2021 the company purchased three Fremont County radio stations and within 18 months The Brand was named Station of the Year by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters, an honor that has continued annually.
