Media edited by Gestión de Medios Jiennenses S.L. who has extensive experience in media publishing, since since 2014 he has edited the free newspaper VIVA in the province of Jaén. The publishing company is part of the Jiennense Multimedia Group, a company that brings together the management of 10 radio stations distributed throughout the province of Jaén (Úbeda, Andújar, Martos, Villacarrillo, Cazorla, Porcuna, Alcaudete and Beas de Segura) under brands linked to Prisa Radio (SER, los40, 40 Classics, Dial, Radiolé). Extra Jaén is part of an editorial experience born in 2019, in paper, consisting of the free distribution of special thematic supplements with high-level journalistic, analytical and informative content. They have dealt with issues of social, political and economic significance and have been approached from different points of view, thus acquiring greater interest for more readers. Proof of its quality is the Communication Award of the Jaén Provincial Council awarded in 2021.
