The publication primarily publishes on its website, as well as a podcast, via email newsletter, and on social media. The outlet focus is on environmental issues, and includes policy, culture, energy, education, business, climate, and nature reporting, as well as opinion and columns. Green Source Texas also produces the “Green State Report,” an ongoing podcast covering Texas environmental issues since 2019. The publication publishes a calendar of environmental events, a job board, and other informational guides and resources. Green Source Texas also hosts the annual Earth Day event in Oak Cliff, Texas, and previously hosted an annual sustainable leadership awards.
