News55 is an independent media outlet focusing on people aged 55 and over.

The company began its operations in 2015 by launching the news site. Since 2016, News55 has been one of Sweden's largest organisers of events for seniors. In November 2017, News55 launched the site E55.se, reporting on news and disseminating knowledge on finances, savings, and pensions.

The company's shares are traded on the trading platform Nordic MTF, overseen by Sweden's largest independent issuing house Aqurat Fondkommission AB.

News55 was founded by Artur Ringart and Fredrik Lundberg. They have recruited several experienced Swedish radio personalities and journalists - among these are Karin Fransson, Sven Ekberg, and Tommy Engstrand.
