Revista Factum

Factum Magazine focuses on in-depth journalism. It is based in El Salvador but also covers Guatemala and Honduras. It is an online magazine, focused on the young generations, "natives of the web." Its objective is to inform them and denounce the political, social and economic problems of the three neighboring countries.

Ours is a media made up of a group of journalists who are guided by curiosity, skepticism and acuity. This magazine believes that being faithful to its principles will positively impact a society in need of diverse voices and relevant information to make the best decisions.

Factum seeks, through in-depth journalism, to talk about this, about what corrupts the State and, with it, society. But it is also about talking about what is still outside that sphere of decadence, which is a lot and is essentially represented by tens of thousands of Salvadorans who, despite the state and corruption, opt for honest work to give dignity to their families.

The magazine model focuses on promoting transparency, motivating debates and making them permanent through a meticulous journey of a "national reality."

Factum wants to do relevant, brave, timely and humble journalism. Journalism capable of listening to other people's voices before its own.
