Telegram is a leading public interest and investigative digital media outlet in Croatia, published by Telegram Media Group.

Founded in 2015, Telegram.hr was established with the aim of combining commercial sustainability with strong editorial independence and high journalistic standards. It covers politics, the economy, science, and culture, and is particularly recognized for its long-form reporting and investigative journalism. In 2021, Telegram.hr became one of the first digital media outlets in Croatia to introduce a subscription-based model.

Telegram is published by Telegram Media Group, one of the country’s leading digital publishers, reaching approximately 1.2 million unique users per month. The Group produces digital content and campaigns across a diverse portfolio that, in addition to Telegram.hr, includes Telesport, Super1, and Pitanje zdravlja, as well as the daily podcast Prvi glas, newsletters, and the book publishing imprint Minerva. Telegram Media Group also operates an in-house Telegram Studio focused on content marketing and digital storytelling.

The organization employs a team of 55 professionals, including journalists, editors, developers, designers, and advertising sales specialists.

Telegram’s journalism and marketing campaigns have received numerous national journalism and marketing awards. In 2023, the Dutch-based pooled fund Pluralis invested in Telegram, becoming a minority shareholder.
