The vision of This Is Africa (TIA) is to be the intersection for Africans to own and boldly tell our stories. TIA exists to provide a platform for diverse African voices and experiences, jointly working towards a more equitable and inclusive society, while advancing progressive Pan-African thought leadership. We endeavour to be a platform of utmost relevance for critical, liberal Pan-African opinion and thought. The TIA platform is devoted to telling compelling Afrocentric stories from diverse spheres, but also challenging and debunking assumptions and prejudicial views about African societies and cultures, opinions held by Africans themselves and the international community. TIA embodies creativity, innovation, inclusivity and respect for diversity.
